    Hi, I used a company called Abtech who were excellent and used Delta membrane, i dug out myself and they did the tanking and the drainage pumps.

    Thanks I think i may heed that advice and go for uplighters in the main room, I can in the bathroom as the missus is definate on them and a bit more difficult as it will be tiled. I think i'll just have to pack the joists with sound deadening and double up the plasterboard

    Hello All, I have just finished tanking the basement in my victorian flat and I am now about to start fitting it out, does anyone know the best way to sound deaden between the floors as my bedroom is above part of the basement. The joists are 24cm and I am planning to put in downlights...
