Thanks buck51, I live in a new build and the cistern is under a shelf unit... I managed to fixed the problem as the cistern lid was pressing agaist the ballcock resulting in the continuous flush. Now just need to re-seal the shelf back into place. Thanks for your help, this is a great forum.

Yes, I think so, sorry I dont have much of a clue about plumbing.. Water is continuing to fill the bowl all the time, a continuous trickle rather than loads of water...

Hi I have a problem with my toilet. The toilet is continuously trying to fill the bowl and I am worried about how much water is being wasted. Can anyone offer any advice? Many thanks
