took the side off and played about with the blue connector. ran the diagnostic and it was okay. many thanks for all advice. can see this being an ongoing problem...

comes up with 7 flashes virtually straight away. have had the water inlet pipe off at the back of machine and this doesn't seem to be blocked, the machine is also taking in water. any ideas or things i can try before calling engineer

machine starts cycle. pumps out tyen takes on water but stops after 10 seconds, flashes 7times and returns program to spin cycle. sometimes works if you jiggle ( technical term ) the cold water pipe. anybody have any ideas???
