Hi Thermo It is on about 2 ft of mot and then a 4 to 1 sharp sand and cement wet mix. The slabs are solid, no movement at all, just the pointing i am worried about. Cheers Stu

I layed a patio last summer, all looked ok until the frost got in to it. The pointing as all cracked and is lifting out. I used a 3 building sand to 1 cement moist mix, as is often recommended on here. Should I have added anything else, such as frostproofer? The slabs are fine, I laid...
