I cant find a stat anywhere in the house, just have thermostatic valves on every rad. Does this sound right? unfortunately I'm a novice when it comes to central heating! Will this also effect the earlier given advice? Thanks again for your help.

Hope you can help. Can I replace an old style dial timer with a new digital timer. Although the old one works fine, it only alloews you 2 time settings per day, digital, seem to be more flexable and programmable than this. Thanks for your help.
