I would take a look at the Epson range in that case they start from £40 and they do get some good reviews and are easy to use.

CANON ZOOMBROWSER EMERGENCY HELP SONS UNI PICS

As I work in IT I know the kind of infrastructure behind the services that Flikr and Photobucket run and they are resilient. Just because you get a 404 message doesn't mean you've lost your images. If money isnt a problem I'd purchase a Buffalo Terrastation with RAID for the disk and save you...

Now that is funny... on the odd occasion I've been in to that establishment I've always struggled to find anyone that knows anything worthwhile about PC's All they are bothered about is telling you you need more CPU and More Ram for doing bugger all. A friend of mine went in and was told he...

Not being funny or anything but why not purchase a cheap router like a netgear for £20 off ebay and use that instead of the old speedtouch modem. I just got one for my father in law the other day brand new for £25 and it works a treat. Also check the NTE5 master socket and remove the wire...

    windows xp crashes whilst loading

I'd be tempted to boot into safe mode if you can then check the system logs for errors and attempt to rectify them before rebooting. If possible do a system restore from prior to IE8/PowerDVD Alternatively try the F8 and load last known good configuration...it does sometimes work. HTH
