    removing paint from asphalt

    Thanks for your reply Col, But unfortunately the paint was spilled about 5yrs ago and has soaked deeply, Thinners would also damage the asphalt and I suggested removing about quarter of an inch and reasphalting the area (about 4sq mtres) but ownes say it would look bad as it's part of a 100ft...

    Rules state that garage owners may not store flamable items, eg: furniture,wood etc: in the garage spaces as there are flats overhead. I need to build a cheap temporary wall with door. Cheapest way is wood and ply. But ideally it should be fireproof.

    A few years ago a painter spilled a pile of paint onto the asphalt pathway outside some flats. The paint soaked into the asphalt and they just covered it up with asphalt paint which has now worn off elaving the white paint patches visible again. Any ideas for a permanent fix, Thanks.
