Think I found it - live broke off while connecting to rose.

I just need it to run 2 x 25w incandescent bulbs? Advise just converting it to UK and make to with what I can get over here?

OK, it didn't like that! As of yesterday, all cables in place but not wired, feed was the only connection all upstairs lights worked fine. Added this connection (exactly as diagram, no switches or lamps wired in yet), put the power back on, only half the lights upstairs work...

Hi, Yeah, should have made it clearer. The bottom of the rose is just meant to show where the lamp connects to , but these are actually connect to the terminals above - added in picture below: All correct?

Length of bulb is important as it is the length of the light it illuminates. If I can't get a UK bulb, then I will probably not have to worry about the lamp holder. Anyone know of a reasonably priced step down converter?

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the only bulb which is closest to the correct length is a blacklight bulb.

Hi all, I have purchased a vintage US wall light and wish to install it in the UK. It's very basic, wiring is old and although it works, I will re-wire it. The bulb it is using I can't seem to find in the UK - it is a screw in 120v 25w Tubular bulb, total length around 6" I am unsure...

Hi, some help needed please. Toilet was flushing fine yesterday, but suddenly stopped. It fills up ok, but when the flusher handle is pushed down it literally trickle flushes! When I manually push on the blue tube (pictured), it is just very very slow to flush the water out (a slight...
