    Open Ended Drainage Pipe

    Attached is the picture of the end of the pipe which is concealed in a brick surround. The brick surround finishes at about 0.5M above surface level but as you can see from the photo the pipe appears at about ground level. Thanks for the responses as I hoped it was just a rodding point.

    I shall take a picture of it later and upload it, but one thing I forgot to mention was that on the slab/stone that covers the opening the letters "RE" are engraved.
