yup, they were really unhelpful...

It's basically dead - the splines are sheared and the tap has been dripping for months now... I don't have a manufacturer, but the tap is on my shower, it's the on/off tap I found a valve on lunn's that has the same number of splines and same measurements, but looks a wee bit different...

I'm looking for a valve to replace this one, I've tried Lunns but they don't have an exact match... Is it ok to replace a valve with one of the same dimensions, but isn't exactly the same? [/img]
