who knows what their domestic hot water (dhw) pressure is as they turn off a tap?
i have found out to my cost that it will exceed 10 bar
the guage needle was bent!
who has a gauge on dhw?
turn off and pressure rises dramaticallly.

does domestic hot water supplied by a combi boiler require any expansion vessel or safety valve ?
excessive pressure on system when tap closed due to latent heat in boiler causing expansion!?!
may have been like this for some time
boiler or system fault?
