Originally there was a stuart turner fitted of same design so replaced with grundfos. I called grundfos about it and they said its normal for it to get hot. They didn't state how hot though. It's used for showers, toilets and sinks.

Hi, just had a grundfos 3 bar,twin impeller, negative head fitted for my house. Just a question on its operation. When the cold water is only being pumped, the hot water end of the pump is getting extremely hot. Is that normal?

Okay. I know how to test an electrical circuit for resistance with my multimeter, so do I check the cable going from the flow switch to the circuit board. I have also found the other flow switch. I noticed they seem to be connected around the pipe and not within the pipe. If they are faulty is...

Thanks again. Is the flow switch the one with the arrow facing upwards(in the picture)? On the same topic, the motor is very loud, it has always been, even before the problem I have had. It can be heard throughout the house, the house is only 5 yrs old with hard floors so noises are amplified...

I have just been looking near the pump and there is a small connector attached to water pipe and also connected to the mains, and also a silver dome about 10 cm by 5 cm, with 1 bar labelled on it. Is that the pressure sensor and switch?

The pump is running constantly, even with taps turned off etc. If it is the pressure sensor where do I find it as I do have a multimeter, what should I be checking for? thanks

Hello, I have a problem with the water pump in my house. It is used for taps, flushing toilets, and shower. The cold water mains tap does not use the pump. The pump used to switch off when the above were turned off but now it stays on all the time. I have to turn it off at electric mains...
