Hello I have a glass roof on my lean-to which is flashed off at the top with lead. Over time water has run down the glass off the lead and the glass has become stained. Anyone any idea how to get this off without trashing the seals of the PVC support bars? Thanks Glynn

Gents Many thanks for the advice, I am handy with a soldering iron so soldering the joints will be no problem. If soldering, what is an acceptable method to insulate the joints, is it OK to wrap with loads of insulation tape?? Regards Glynn

Many thanks Gents for the advice. I guess the lack of eccentic fittings is not the root cause of the noise, since as you say most other installations get away without them, so I'll check out the thermostat tripping temps and try the boiler silencer before I resort to changing the fittings...
