    Engineered Flooring Which Brands?

I can't fault the quality, there's a good 4 to 5mm oak layer (on the 18mm floor we bought) and a hardwood core. I think they do simply pile them high and only sell via the internet. They supply free samples too, so you can get a good look at the product before you buy. Should also add that...

    Engineered Flooring Which Brands?

I bought ours from http://www.oakfloorsonline.co.uk/ and think the quality is very good and it's very competitive price wise. There's also some usful info on their website. Should add that I have no connection with them other than as a satisfied customer.

Threshold Strip - Help identifying required

    Custom made radiators

Can anyone point me in the diretion of someone who can either custom make or modify a radiatior. What I am after is a vertical, right angled radiator to fit around the wall that encloses the waste water pipe that runs floor to ceiling. The wall around the waste water pipe measures 260mm by 260mm.

Maximum Celotex thickness to use in cavity wall

I would appreciate the U values, but it would have to be for 50mm Celotex and not 75mm as the manufacturers recommend a 50mm wide air cavity to prevent bridging and the total cavity is 100mm.

Maximum Celotex thickness to use in cavity wall

Celotex CW3075 has an R value of 3.25 (CW3050, R=2.15) whereas DriTherm 32 Ultmate 100mm (for full fill) has an R value of 3.1. Also the thermal conductivity is better 0.023 W/mK vs 0.032 W/mK It might be an option if we can't use the 75mm Celotex.

Maximum Celotex thickness to use in cavity wall

We're building an extension and want to use Celotex CW3000 board insullation. The wall will have a 100mm cavity, so what is the maximum thickness of board we can use. My feeling is 75mm is the maximum to leave a 25mm cavity, but I seen some comments about allowing a 50mm cavity to prevent...
