    Pesky Central Heating...

Yep - all done. Planning to leave the cleaner in the system for a good few weeks (the bottle said it can stay in the system for up to 4 weeks) to make sure it gets a good clean. Got a bottle of inhibitor on standby too for when the cleaner comes out. Hopefully that should do the trick...

Just to let you know that the hose/garden tap solution did the trick. The heating is back on and the Mrs is happy. :D Thanks to everyone for their help and advice.

    Pesky Central Heating...

That isn't a problem. The new towel rad has just what I need. Planning to give it a go this afternoon. Fingers crossed that I get some heating.

    Pesky Central Heating...

Nice one. Thanks for those suggestions. Will look into them. Sorry if my post is lacking info... I'm not sure what extra info would be useful (I can tell you lots about IT but not so much on plumbing  ).

    Pesky Central Heating...

I'm having problems with my central heating and I hope someone can help... I drained the system a few weeks ago to add a new radiator and move a couple around. All went pretty well. I went for the big switch on yesterday but it hasn't really worked out as I had hoped. The f/e tank in the...
