Had a quick look at it , didnt have a multim with me . Power up and pump runs without a demand . Put a demand on , nothing happens pump just keeps running no power at aps or fan ? Any ideas anyone . Thanks ....
hi ,brittony combi se, dumping pressure out of prv valve but only on heating, if heating is not used hot water works ok , and keeps pressure , when heating is used the pressure leaks out of prv ,, ?
thanks for your reply , i believe he was getting an aqualisa digital with built in pump, the digitals i have fitted i have found them ok and fairly straightforward to install , but never fitted a pumped version, so its a thumbs down from you?

your cold supply to the bath is tank fed swop it over to mains pipework and this will solve your problem. much cheaper and easier than boosting supply via a pump.
it is water hammer by the sounds, basically securing the pipework should stop it. try altering the flow by reducing the inlet flow slighty if u cant access the pipe.
thanks for your help kev i returned this morning removed diff, cleaned it out and altered the throttle on the bottom of diverter any how she fired and i have not had a call back yet!
ye everything was fine when i left, the boiler fired first time when i put the water back on fired it in an out repeatedly no leaks this was on friday i got called back today late on, an had a quick look ,going back in the morning , the microswitch is engaging the switch just not quite enough...
hi , help .changed a diverter valve for no hot water, all okay ,called back two days later not firing on hot water, microswitch not fully engaging, could it be differential
i take it the system is fully pumped ,do the rads warm without you calling for heat from the wall stat,if so it does sound like the three way valve or the heating valve (two port valve if it is a s plan)
i agree i would leave it where it is ,as far as im aware it wont affect operation,fit air vents to highest point. and the reason it is frowned upon is the risk of freezing.
