At the moment the shower is fed via the mains what I want to no is 'is it practcal to fit a tank to then feed the shower' and what kind of pressure would I expect to get from having the storage tank feeding just the shower?

Cheers for that but wouldn't you need a minimum working presure for one of those?? At busy time i'd say the pressure wouldn't be much more then 1bar or even slightly under!
