Candy CFS 4570 EX circulation pump not working

Had to accept defeat in the end and buy a new dishwasher :( Voltage was getting to the motor (after the loud click), but nothing was happening. I assume the motor is dead and don't want to spend anything more on this thing. Not hard to guess the new dishwasher isn't Candy.

Candy CFS 4570 EX circulation pump not working

Hi everyone, I previously fixed, with the help of this forum, the above dishwasher which had a filling fault. Now 7 months later I have a newly developed fault, which I would love to fix :) Basically the dishwasher starts normally and fills to the correct level, then there is a click (as...

Candy CFS 4570 EX only fills and pumps (2 fault lights)

Sure enough Zipper. The liter counter was on the tank, soaking wet and corroded. I soldered the wires directly on as instructed and, hey presto, it's working superbly. First I had to re-adjust the pressostat to let in a bit more water, as i'd fiddled with it beforehand. Once it was back to...

Candy CFS 4570 EX only fills and pumps (2 fault lights)

Great information Zipper. That gives me a sound base for investigation tomorrow!! So the pressostat doesn't do anything other than measure the level? Just a simple on off pressure activated switch? You're spot bang on with your analysis, as it does indeed timeout after 10 minutes of...

Candy CFS 4570 EX only fills and pumps (2 fault lights)

Thanks for the reply zipper. The model number is correct, but it's a European model, so might not be listed in UK catalogues. I can't find any other flow meter, but where would it usually be positioned? The only place I haven't looked is on the sides of the dishwasher, where the water...

Candy CFS 4570 EX only fills and pumps (2 fault lights)

Hi, I would appreciate any ideas regarding this annoying problem. My Candy cfs 4570 EX dishwasher fills and then stops (as the water level valve clicks), then there is a 1 minute pause, followed by the water being pumped out. The machine does this twice and then the first 2 lights flash -...

Door too high for existing cut out..

Lol  Oh well, I still appreciate your willingness to help me out Masona....I did wonder why you kept asking about the mortar join under the sill :? but thought there might be something I was missing  Thanks anyway. I'll have to think of something else, maybe a small porch in...

Door too high for existing cut out..

There is a 20mm mortar joint which protrudes from the floor under the sill (picture attached) We did include this extra space when initially measuring. I have measured the steel H lintels and they are 7cm x 20cm x approx 170cm, each of which is set to the interior / exterior edge of the wall...

Door too high for existing cut out..

I did a little more excavating and the black strip is actually the edge of the lintel...Also, the front lintel is a lot smaller than I initially thought. Might be best to excavate more on the interior side to find out exactly where the second lintel is, but I will wait for advice. Many thanks!!

French Doors - Floor too high

I know this is an old post and the author has long since fixed the problem, but I just wanted to add a few things. I had a similar situation and couldn't bury the lower threshold due to the drip holes being drilled 30mm from the base by the manufacturer (I still buried about 20mm). I suppose I...

Door too high for existing cut out..

The interior wall above the door is plastered direct on to the surface. To avoid damaging the interior, I ran a metal detector over the wall above the frame and confirmed the lintel appears to be just behind the plaster. The exterior wall above the door has been excavated to the lintel in one...

Door too high for existing cut out..

Hi Masona, Thanks for your response. I need to remove about 10cm, so not sure if there would be anything solid in that portion of the door and I'm quite concerned about resealing the bottom. I've uploaded a few pictures which might give you a better idea regarding what could feasibly be...
