Move the packers look to see if they are bridge packers black with a channell in the middle if you take the unit out poke some wire in the drain hole sometimes they dont get routed out

Look between the two panes is there little brown balls in side it sounds like these particular units may have dessicant inside them, or they may not have any inside the ali bar ,dessicant prevents condensation on both panes get you fitters to get replacement units, as they should be a garentee...

take your sliding door out look at te bottom of the fixed panel there should be a cover plate pop that pff same with the top that should reviel two bracketts one top one bottom couple off screws then it should lift out becarefull patios of this age can be made up of 6mm glass and can be very heavy

Open the windows and see if there is any play on the hinge,(it should move easily) if not see if the lock keeps line up with the pins on the window, sounds like they are not engageing properly.

If they are letting a draught in thats poor fitting,sounds like they have used the wrong thickness panel

A friend of mine plumb my shower in but we keep getting bad smells coming from the drains.The waste pipe is plumed straight into the soil stack i have found out there is no trap under my shower can i fit one to the waste pipe before it enters the stack thanks
