    hi i think i have success. no drips under sink now. only sign of any water now is if i wipe near the clip (the fat end of pipe side) and get a touch of water. i guess that can happen and depends on how my hose is positioned. thanks mark

    cheers i will do that. i had disconnected it to see if i had fitted connector wrong. its in the fatter end as i said but i noticed that its not all the way in a few mm left to go before it reaches the lip at the centre of the connector piece. would that make a difference because i did not...

    thanks guys for quick response. the reason why i posted is that i did put the fatter end and connector together - ur right about the tight fit..that was tough connecting those together - i jubillee clipped the existing hose to the connector (i assume thats right) and jubillee clicked the other...
