    If you contact electrium, they give you the option to let them replace the MCBs or you can. They told me that they will pay £ 75.00 per job. It only refers to MCBs not consumer units

    BS3036 is right. It only takes a slight mistake and risking your life is not a healthy option. Safely isolate and then work on the circuit. Remember electric can and does kill!

    I voted yes. Thought it was a bit overkill. I would prefer to fit RCBO's if they were cheaper! Know somone from Hager who said it only costs them £3 to make an RCBO! They could sell them a lot cheaper.

    Is it possible to replace the valve insert in the expasnsion vessel? I tried to remove it but very tight. Not sure if I'll break it or not - reason is it leaks. Any help appreciated.
