I know my limits, am a mechanical engineer by trade (aircraft though), have some knowledge on CH, just not on combi boilers, hence my asking for advice on here. Thanks to twgas & Tipper for their help though.

I've taken the end screw out & the spindle revolves when the pump is off, though haven't checked it when powered up yet. If there's only one problem though, how does this explain no domestic hot water supply (i.e CH pump not necessary)?

My daughter's just moved into a house & the boiler was working OK until the 2 radiators were re-positioned (valves shut off & system drained slightly). Since re-filling, bleeding air from all rads & central heating pump, the boiler won't ignite. System pressure is at 1.5 bar. Have checked...
