thankyou for you quick reply, im afraid im very ignorant when it comes to all this what I have discovered so far is that I get a level of control when i remove the white cable from the switchmaster from the grey honeywell, this enables me to have the heating on only when selected im not etirely...

Hi could anybody help? I have replaced my knackered switchmaster 3 way valve for a honeywell, I have wired it as per previous posts with the orange linked to the red etc but when I switch the system back on the centeral heating is on regardless of the setting does anybody have any ideas? Paul
