reason i jumped in was he was having trouble with his riello burner too, i was sitting with no heat whatsoever no hot water and 2 kids ( dont know if you've noticed but it f**kin arctic ) i needed help.

its a riello but i dunno which model number it is i'll take a pic in the morning of the exact thing im talking about or i'll scan the net for one :wink:

had a guy come out and look at it, there is a brass pin type thing that comes out of the oil filter @ the burner, it needed to be pulled out a tad. it may need re-set or replaced but as long as i have heat in this weather i dont care :D

sorry to hijack the thread but im in a pickle here. my burner stopped working this morning, so i bled it from the hex bolt some bubbles then oil started comming out. fired it up lasted about 3-4 mins then died, ive justed noticed that there isnt any oil in the filter now - i only got oil 2...
