Thanks very much for your help, I have re connected it and it works, never had this problem before ( many others but not this)

I have checked if the pipe is frozen and it isnt, I think the sensor is wet

I have a potterton 2 years old, would ignite but not stay lit. i have followed an earlier reply and disconnected the wire from condensate trap and it works is it safe to leave it runnung with this wire off
