    60A old 1361 main bullet looked untouched for years, checked the fuse just to be sure and it had blown.

    Seconded, Alot of houses have upstairs/downstairs split lighting including bathroom in the upstairs circuit, and unless you live in buckingham palace i very much doubt you will overload the fuse with a few light fittings.

    If it were me and i had sockets ect on the plasterboard wall (which im guessing is raised from the brick with the steels) id wire everything to where its going to be leaving plenty of length on cables and then once the boarders have finished cut my boxes in (faster fix) and pull all cables...

    This is why i think he isnt qualified and just a charlaton (sp?).Yes he can wire but you can teach a monkey to wire.Its just when it comes to even basic stuff like calc amperes from wattage he hasnt got the foggiest.Im only 21 hes double my age and i know far more than him yet every other spark...

    TT being where the earth is from a rod inserted into the ground. TN-S is when the earth is fed seperatly or taken from the sheathing of the incoming cable TNC-S is when the earth comes from the incoming neutral on the cutout

    You need a 10mm bond to the water stop stap and the gas pipe.

    Wouldnt diversity only apply if there were other things on the circuit or does the cooker only pull 11.2 kw when every hob grill and oven is on/

    Why are there two sets of cables on the outgoing side of the spur? even if there are 2 fittings above wouldnt it be better to just link them out?
