    Another bonding question..... sorry :)

When we installed our new bathroom we took the bonding off the sink and bath taps, my question is should I replace these? OR We had a new boiler/full central heating installed at the same time, the fitter told us we didn't need to have any of the pipes/radiators bonded as our CU has an...

I only have 1 ring main...

I went to add a double socket spur into my upstairs ring main earlier and have just discovered I have 1 switch in the cu for 1 double socket downstairs (no idea why), and then the hob/cooker is on another. But everything else is on the 1 32A 2.5mm ring main! Thats 12 single sockets and 8...

    Shaver socket/underfloor heating quick Q

the shaver socket is 3A but through an rcd which is it on the cu! the u/f heating is 30ma rcd (at cu again) and 2.4 amp draw at most i think! hence the 3A fuse, if i'm wrong though and it is 5A 1.5mm is still easily capable! I don't have the instructions to hand at the moment to double check...

    Shaver socket/underfloor heating quick Q

Missed the second responce while i was typing! So in theory i can leave the 16A mcb in because the 1.5mm would be protected by the spur fuses So run 4mm to one fused spur then to the next, and I can keep my 1.5mm from the switched side of each spur to the relevant device?

    Shaver socket/underfloor heating quick Q

Does it matter if they are fused spurs? I thought that with it being a fused spur then thats its protection, i think i missed that bit off sorry! I don't mind having it checked etc hence why I'm trying to do it right then ring my electrician to come and double check it for me etc! Whats...

    Shaver socket/underfloor heating quick Q

its a 16A mcb for some reason! Whats the best way to improve this? That 4mm cable is annoying to work with, its dam impossible to work with! Would 4mm into 1 spur followed by 4mm into the other spur then use 1.5mm to each accessory be more acceptable if i lower the mcb down to 10amp (can i do...
