thanks thats great regarding the old style roof can i avoid the job of sinking the valley boards into rafters by using 6mm ply on top of rafters or would you not recommend this as it is a lead valley. ta paul.

first post. new extension.i am fitting valley boards one side of valley roof is warm ie with counter battens so valley board can be fitted on top of rafters and tile battens sail over o.k.. other roof is standard so do i need to recess valley boards or can i use 6mm on top of rafters. also...
