I'm fitting a new pump head on to my Potterton 80 combi... But I'm a bit concerned about the Pump starter Knob I unscrewed it like the the manual says and pulled it out to engage the spindle but to my supprise it came out of the head all the way and I ended up with it in my hand and I noticed...

My Potterton 80 has gone on the blink again..This time its blowing the 2 Amp fuse on the PCB..it appears to blow on the ignition sequence as the Domestic supply is turned on. any ideas on how to test for the fault.

Re Potterton Combi 80. When the C.H. is off I can't get any Domestic hot water..so I leave it on all the time and turn the thermostat down to zero, and it works fine..whats the problem?..I think it might have something to do with the diverter valve...advice please??.

My Potterton Combi 80 has packed in..There are no lights working on the front panel untill I switch from constant to timed..Then the red and green lights come on together..but theres no other response no flame..no pump working...No nothing..where do I start??..co's I cant find the service manual.
