The bathroom radiator only comes on occasionally. It's an oil boiler with a cylinder water tank(downstairs) and a water storage tank in the loft. It all appears to run off a timer by the boiler. There is also a thermostat in the hall (set to 25deg). House is a bungalow, built in the 50's...
