August 2009 re the Neff problem...the hob top is held by the 4 knobs which pull off, then 8 small phillips screws, 2 by each burner...underneath the knobs you will find a plastic slider which has a spring...is the spring OK? does the slider slide! a little WD40 might make things go a little...
