Are these wire connectors right for the job?

Is a cavity at back of shelf considered a suitable enclosure? And if the shelf can slide off and on brackets for inspection, does that count as accesable?

Are these wire connectors right for the job?

Are these 2-way Wago wire leaver connectors suitable for connecting mains lighting cable to a driver and then the driver DC output to LED strips in a series circuit? Wire is a standard lighting wire so 1.5m2 i think. They connectors are 32A connectors so probably overkill. If so what is a more...

Sanding the facia of a shelf square

Gotya. My Makita belt sander is too heavy so hard to use for this job. It's hard to control it and although it's flat I'll struggle to balance it on the narrow 44mm shelf facia. I could clamp all 3 shelves and sand all in one. That will give me a wider surface might be easier. Would that work?

Recomendation for a palm router and planer

I've got a Festool midi dust extractor. Corded router and planer could work for me and would make sense if I want to use dust extraction. It would be nice to get a Festool but I won't use it often enough to justify the cost. The palm router will get much more use so a recomedation for a good...

Replacement backing pad for DeWalt D26410 Sander

Is it right that I need to turn the hex screw clockwise to open it. The bugger isn’t shifting! How do I stop the d26410 disc from turning. The button on the side only changes the range of the sander but it doesnt lock the disc to enable me to open the screw.

Replacement backing pad for DeWalt D26410 Sander

Can anyone recommend a good replacement backing pad for DeWalt D26410 orbital sander? Is the original DeWalt pad worth the £30 price tag or is there a good third-party alternative that you'd recommend?
