    Drayton sm2 timer problem

    I don't have a multi meter but the bit which I think has the motor in is completely sealed. I tried squirting the moving mechanical dial with wd40 but it made no difference. I resorted to buying a new unit and used the existing back plate and it works fine now. Thanks for the advice though

    The Drayton SM2 timer for my boiler is not working properly. The water and central heating controls light up and work fine when activated but the mechanical timer part has stopped working.
