Thanks for suggestion, no indication of fault in wiring. Couldnt find relay, unless it is embedded in the timer. Cut my losses and bought new.. 8 years of service is not too bad I guess.

I have Smeg dishwasher that is sticking in its cycle (wash phase), water was cold, so I assumed the element had failed (or tank termostat), so I have replaced both element and tank thermostat in turn. No change, water still cold and dishwasher sticks in the wash cycle. Any ideas? (Note, no...
