    Lightsys Outputs

Hi, So installed the ProSound, all went well.. Only 1 issue. The squark when arming is unbelievably loud! Checked in the manual, it says the volume can be adjusted between 0 and 9 Menu 8 - 3 - 1 * 0 - 6 Except on my system 0 -6 is missing.. I thought firmware differences between the manual...

    Lightsys Outputs

I will try what you have suggested just need to get the system back first. Investment in a new SAB seems worth it.. Had 2 Alarm engineers in the past, relived me of money and still left issues.. Patience and Google :)

    Lightsys Outputs

Just an update on this. The weather at the weekend was not great so wasn’t up for any diagnosis of faults. I have purchased a ProSound as this used a bus interface. Bit simpler to see what’s going on. It’s installed, panel sees it as bus device, so the comms looks good. Just need to install...

    Lightsys Outputs

I will try recreate the issue at the weekend.. I don't remember changing anything.. But I must have caught something and saved it without realising.. Where can i check the normally closed or normally open setup? "was the bell initially triggered for a very short period?" - Yes, window cleaner...

Hi.. The logs are not much help... Its full of messages about DHCP and unable to see the internet. I cant get the IP module to reach the internet on a Draytek router.. Works fine if I go back to the old BT one.. As it only keeps 500 entries there is nothing we can use.. When the problem...

Hi, I post here a few years ago about connecting a nova guard sounder to my alarm system. It’s been working well for years. Believe it uses UO for activating the sounder. (as follows) Diagram: Nova: Lightsys: Bell Trigger S- U01 NO Strobe Trigger STR-...

    Lightsys & RISCO Cloud

Thought id give an update.. So after a lot of work I have tracked down the issue to the way DHCP is issued by the Draytek router.. Using the BT router is fine.. Looking on the alarm, and the router there are errors on both.. Strange, both ping, so not sure what i can do now... Will look at it...

    Lightsys & RISCO Cloud

Hi, Just an update on this.. So ran a 50m Ethernet lead around the house bypassing the internal stuff. Checked the logs and could see the Alarm (192.168.1.37) reaching out to www.riscocloud.com. Much better! Have had the internal cable re-pulled, and we just ran out of time to terminate the...

    Lightsys & RISCO Cloud

Call home I mean, the alarm must register its self to the cloud via the defaults. But how often will it do that. Just constantly try or is there some trigger needed. What’s CS? And how do I enable it? Least then I can disprove any LAn network issues.

    Neutral for WiFi Switch

Thanks, both.. It's been removed and I know a bit more.. There are 2 lights in the garage, both on the lighting circuit, with different switches. So ok to find just one of the neutrals, and use that, just not create interconnects between the different circuits?

    Neutral for WiFi Switch

Thanks for the quick reply. So I either need to find the Neutral in this lighting circuit or could I take one from the CU?

    Neutral for WiFi Switch

hi all, Live in a new build and it has 3 wires for the lights, so have been able to add a few wifi switches. as the Neutral has been present. :) Fitting one tonight to the garage lights, these were added by a local electrician shortly after the build. There is no neutral present on this light...
