I will try what you have suggested just need to get the system back first. Investment in a new SAB seems worth it.. Had 2 Alarm engineers in the past, relived me of money and still left issues.. Patience and Google :)

Just an update on this. The weather at the weekend was not great so wasn’t up for any diagnosis of faults. I have purchased a ProSound as this used a bus interface. Bit simpler to see what’s going on. It’s installed, panel sees it as bus device, so the comms looks good. Just need to install...

Thought id give an update.. So after a lot of work I have tracked down the issue to the way DHCP is issued by the Draytek router.. Using the BT router is fine.. Looking on the alarm, and the router there are errors on both.. Strange, both ping, so not sure what i can do now... Will look at it...

Call home I mean, the alarm must register its self to the cloud via the defaults. But how often will it do that. Just constantly try or is there some trigger needed. What’s CS? And how do I enable it? Least then I can disprove any LAn network issues.

Thanks, both.. It's been removed and I know a bit more.. There are 2 lights in the garage, both on the lighting circuit, with different switches. So ok to find just one of the neutrals, and use that, just not create interconnects between the different circuits?

It's there for a reason.. The garage door opens and IFTT switches the lights on.. I know the automation is not for everyone

hi all, Live in a new build and it has 3 wires for the lights, so have been able to add a few wifi switches. as the Neutral has been present. :) Fitting one tonight to the garage lights, these were added by a local electrician shortly after the build. There is no neutral present on this light...
