    Sounds like the inner rotor can assembly bearing is wearing, its either stick with the noise or replace. Bearings wear over time, or if the wrong speed is selected, very important that the pump is running on design curve. Running on incorrect speed can cause premature failure.

    It does make sense in what you are saying. I will check filter on oil tank discharge and then will look into running a separate feed to each. Its literally a couple of minutes before rayburn goes out.

    When we run the Grant oil boiler for the central heating the oil fired rayburn is going out. They are fed from one oil tank teeing to the left for the boiler and teeing to the right for the rayburn. Approx 4-5 metres each. They have both run fine together previously, cannot understand why not now.

    Hi, Occassionally we get the odd fume/smell from our of7 rayburn. A few months ago the flue got sooted up around the square fluebox on the top of the rayburn. No blockage further up the flue.     Many thanks. Its 4-13cc. Is it best to adjust low fire by tweaking a quarter of a turnat a time as at the moment its between simmer and bake approx 150 C.

    There are 2 screws top and bottom of a white plastic slider. Hopefully these are the high and low fire adjustments.

    There is a recess for where the screw should be. At the moment its idling at 170 c. Unsure what to do.

    We have fitted a bm30 oil control valve to replace ci valve. The bm valve has a high fire screw adjustment but no low fire screw adjustment. The supplier says this is how they are now, preset.     I need to change the ci oil control valve. Its 4-13cc manual I suppose as it has a knob from off to 6 on it. These you cant get so what would the equivalent bm valve be known as. Is it a bm30 4-13cc manual? I think i could get one or is a toby ok.
