Thanks mate. Now i feel really stupid lol.

Sorry perhaps i got the wording a little wrong. The picture is the connections i have but the wires have nothing to do with mine at all. Im guessing thats how its ment to be wired in. Unfortunatly im a complete novice to phone wireing so im learning as im going here.

I hope someone can help me with this part as im about to give up. Unfortunatly the cat has destroyed the master phone socket so im replacing it with another with an ADSL filter built in. I have 4 wires white, green, orange and black. Green and black being the main wires on mine...
