i've got an error message on my thermostat on my underfloor heating. It says external failure. Its a warmup x-stat. Can i just disconnect the floor sensor thats wired into the stat to get it going temporarily?

I've got to the stage on my project where I need to fit the mono basin mixer. My problem is I've fitted the flexi tales on to the feed pipes with isolation valves(i've left small holes to access the valves) but I've boarded over and plastered the wall. Am I going to have to break into the wall...
