I just bought an old house and in the living room there are in 2 places outlet receptacles installed close to the floor (same level with the bottom molding). Is this a code violation, they have to be installed to a certain level from the floor/corner/radiator/ceiling? Thank you.

Can anyone recommend a solar motion detector light that actually works. I read so many bad opinions about them, specially Health Zenith. I have one also (from the previous owners of the house). It worked for a few days and now is dead. Thank you.
