Whose responsibility is it to fix a leaking water main if it's : a) on your property but b) doesn't service your property? I didn't even realise it was there until the puddle appeared!

It was the motor within the diverter valve.

Is the pump a bit tired perhaps? After being off all night the boiler performs well. If it's only had an hour or so of rest though, it'll fail to fire for more that about 5 seconds.

Hi, any help with diagnosis would be appreciated. We have a Worcester 280 combi boiler whose hot water is working absolutely fine. The central heating though is a different story. When the heating first comes on (eg at 6.30 am) the boiler fires and the radiators warm up as you would expect...
