Thanks Morris and Ray. Ray there is a red lever just above the expansion cylinder and a blue lever to the right going to the boiler with a branch also going to the pipe just above expansion tank .Which one should i turn off ?

It seems it's running down pipework from plastic tundish but there's an elbow joint where it drips into container.about 300mm below tundish. The other leak near the cylinder seems to be contained or very little at soldered elbow. I had probs with no heating last xmas and this heating engineer...
