Can i use central heating pump instead of shower pump?

Thank for all the comments A venturi system is expensive. Pump suggested by Tony will cost £100 and as i have been told very quite. It seems all i need to do is just add the pump in the hotwater pipe under the bath. With RCD will cost around £110 + a sunday.

Can i use central heating pump instead of shower pump?

Thank you Tony. I have looked at the pump you said and it seems a good one. Can i put it under the bath? I have enough room. Would you know if i already have a 1 meter head of water and another extra 1/2 bar with this pump as you said, might give me about 10 liters/min out of shower? That is...

Can you please help? I have a 1 meter head from cold water tank in loft to shower head but its not enough to give me the power i need for a decent shower. Shower pump is too noisy for where i am. Can i use a central heating pump in the feed from my hot water cylinder to the shower? The cold...

Is it possible to connect shower pump from CWT in to HWC?

Could someone help me with this question please? I have a standard vented system with hot water tank in airing cupboard and cold water tank in loft. Is it possible to connect a single outlet shower pump in the pipe that feeds the hot water cylinder from the cold water tank? I am thinking that...

Two smaller combies instead of a larger one?

Hi and thank you for all your comments regardless of direction. Just from this thread I have learned so much and so glad to read both sides of the argument. Gas meter is in the porch and the outlet from meter is the old iron pipe which I believe is just under 22mm if I am correct. As with all...

Two smaller combies instead of a larger one?

Thank you for very informative info. Just one last question. What size UN tank will i need to supply hot water to two showers and heating. We hardly ever use the bath. I asume a 24kw boiler should be enough. I have 11 rads around the house, some large (double) and some single. At least i now...

Two smaller combies instead of a larger one?

Could you please advice me. Since UV system would be the best way forward then would a combi boiler with storage tank inside would do the same job? Perhaps this way i might save on space by having a tank inside the boiler. If as you have said a heat only boiler will cost less to maintain, then...

Two smaller combies instead of a larger one?

Lol, that is OK. As i said i did expect remarks coming in. I am no expert but i am the kind of person who will not just call in a plumber and accept what he says. I have had plumber who suggested a 24kw combi without even looking at how many rads i had. When i questioned him, he simply said...

Mains hot water pressure without a Combi or Unvented system

Thanks for comments. It will cost me around £1500 to change my boiler. My tank is newish. If i were to change it to unvented, then the costs will double. In addition after talking with two people with unvented systems with some problems, i have come to the conclusion that maintaining the system...

Mains hot water pressure without a Combi or Unvented system

At the moment i have the standard vented heating system with a tank. I Hi, sorry, have just come back from work. I have a shower room and a bathroom with a shower on top of bath. Up to now i have been using one elctric shower above bath and a pump for the shower room. I am going to change...

Mains hot water pressure without a Combi or Unvented system

[/url] Thank you very much for both posts as it has been very helpful. Do any of you have experience as to how well the heat bank works? I am talking about the separate heat bank that can be added to the normal tank that i already have (from your link) Does it give the same temp of hot...
