I have been told i could have an air lock in my dishwasher from when i put it on its side to move it, which is why it will not fill with water. Can anyone tell me how i first locate the valve. Then how do I try to unlock the valve and if that does not work how i fit a new one?

Have now worked out how to get into the machine and cleaned out all the pipes that i can find but still nothing happens - i think it might be needing a new pump????

Hi thanks, yeah i did get in touch with them but just drew a blank which makes me think it is a part they no longer make. Which is why i was looking along the lines of getting a piece cut but didnt know if it was that easy to get "oven door" glass cut to size - it would need to be made safe...

ok thanks JJ, might explain why i cant find a replacement!!! dont suppose you understand dishwashers do you? have put on a post asking how to look for blockages in the pipes!!!! Not got any replies so far :cry:

I have seen other posts on here about checking the internal pipes and valves, how do i get to them? do i undo the screws holding on the big concrete stone or the ones holding on the white metal surround to get to the workings??? As you can see i am totally in the dark with this one :oops:

Hi JJ4091, thanks for the reply JJ4091 i have just looked at the oven - the dial for the top is called "top oven" with the other being called "fan oven" both dials have temperatures of up to 240 - with top oven having additional diagrams after the temperatures for either top heat, bottom heat...
