    Bathroom Sink waste leaking.

Hi Guys. I cleaned the pipes and fittings up and reasssembled them. This time the leak was from the black seal around the sink outlet! I tightened it by screwing the plug fitting in and the leak has disappeared. I think this was the problem all along, even looking at the photo above there...

    Bathroom Sink waste leaking.

Thanks Just Pumps. Hi Terryplumb. The sink and cabinet are from B and Q. I think the best way forward is as you suggest, take the seal to a plumbers merchant. If I'm being a nuisance, I'm sorry, but where might that be?

    Bathroom Sink waste leaking.

Hi Just Pumps, Many thanks for your reply. The top one is the overflow so I won't worry about that one. Regarding the leak, If I take the fitting to pieces I will find a rubber seal that may be misplaced? Where can I get a suitable replacement for the fitting? I have had a look on...

    Bathroom Sink waste leaking.

Hi. Your opinion would be very welcome. A new bathroom was installed last year and everything still appeared great! Until now. The waste leaks when a sink half-full/full of water is released by the plug. We have only noticed this now, perhaps because we normally use the sink with running...

Advice please about low HW water pressure

Hi Tony Thanks for the prompt contribution. That sounds utterly reasonable. I won't have a go myself as it's a little bit out of the way, so I will get a guy to sort it whilst he services my boiler. Again, many thanks to all respondants. :)

Advice please about low HW water pressure

Hi I live in a bungalow built in 1995. Refitted new Combi Boiler 2010. Works well (touch wood). Just a couple of days ago hot water pressure suddenly dropped at kitchen sink. Hot water pressure still OK in bathroom. Inspected kitchen hot water tap innards and clean as a whistle...

Connection from cistern to toilet bowl leaking at bowl.

Right Guys. I have received the flexible pipe assembly, in bits, which is not a problem because I can cut the pipe for best fit. The flexible fit is the best solution, because when the cistern is flushed the pipe moves! The instructions with the fitting say use PVC glue, but searching on...

Connection from cistern to toilet bowl leaking at bowl.

The thing is guys: The pipe is at an angle. I have managed to find flexible flush pipes on ebay and have ordered them. Hope this will do the trick. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251248970621?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Connection from cistern to toilet bowl leaking at bowl.

Hi I have a concealed cistern behind a fitted unit that connects to the bowl via an L shaped pipe. It has started leaking at the joint to the toilet bowl. I note that the cistern and bowl are not aligned properly. The L shaped joint looks as though it was cut short by the plumber to fit...
