I got a new valve ready to go on but will have to drain a lot of the system to fit it and mess about with pipes in a confined space. Might be easier to leave it as it is now providing it wont cause further issues?

Hi Guys I have an ACL Drayton lifestyles mid position valve 679H340-30L0 its the old type without the snap off actuator. It wont switch back to the Central Heating position after the Hot Water has selected or it has been turned off. I changed the syn motor but that did not help help so...
