    Who's responsibility is it to make sure a CO detector would be installed in this case? Is it mine the electrician or the homeowners? Would I be covered if i just recommened they got a Plug in CO detector?

    Is there a regulation stating you must install a carbon monoxide detector in a property if the boiler is an external boiler? The property in question is a downstairs flat. Do most people normally install one or leave it seen as the boiler is outside?
