namsag thanks for your input I took your advice and checked the solenoid and that was the problem. So a new gas valve and solenoid complete was fitted by the gas fitter that started the job after I had suggested it from your advice All up and going now THANK YOU.

I have done this and all that is happening is new parts are fitted and the boiler is just the same. I need to know what's wrong or could be and look at my options.
