I may need a new boiler fitted if I can't pursued BG to do it under their Homecare 400 scheme. Can anyone recommend a reliable professional company to do the job. The boiler coming out is an Ideal m3080 and I waqnt a Worcester Basch 30CDi system boiler installing.

I wanted to see what state it was in and when I found it was shot I decided to replace it. I could have called BG in but as I had it off and the plumbers merchant is just round the corner I thought what the hell I'll do it myself.

Thanks for the explanation of the "balls". As I have HomeCare 400 and it covers the whole central heating system with the exception of powerflush I would expect BG to resolve the problem at their cost after all they have been taking £40 a month off me.

Excuse my ignorance here. The valve I am talking about allows the hot water cylinder and CH. I've replace it (Tower valve) with a Honeywell one and that had what looks like ball bearings in it.

What do BG call the 30kW Worcester Bosch regular boiler?

I like the sound of the Worcester Bosch boilers - good reviews. I want to house the boiler in a kitchen cupboard where the existing Ideal m3080 which is 11 years old. Will the Worcester Bosch 30CDi fit? The internal dimensions are W 460mm, D 500mm, H 1200mm.

Do they rebadge Worcester Bosch? If so what do they call the 30kW Worcester Bosch that will fit into a kitchen cupboard?
