Could someone tell me the best tips of plastering a ceiling . I think apply a thin coat over all the ceiling then wait for a while for it to set up. Then apply another thin coat and wait a while and then polish off, with water . Is this correct cheers rob

I have started a project in our bathroom lowering the ceiling to put in some down lighters. I have the plasterboard do I use the light side showing or the brown side showing when I intend to skim over the board with board finish plaster? Thanks for any replies Rob
