Thanks for all the swift replies. Not sure which is the battery fuse so I changed all 3 glass fuses then turned off the mains power and hey presto, it didn't trigger the alarm. Really appreciate your kind assistance - thanks. :D

Hi, I have a wired scantronic 9448 alarm panel with a remote 9427 keypad. The alarm is activated when we have a power cut even though I have a 12v battery (6 months old) within the panel, this means that I can't deactive the alarm until power is restored. What can I do to fix the problem? Thanks
